A bit about me
As a busy parent myself I know how stressful it can be making sure everyone is well fed.
That’s why I’m so passionate about helping other parents and busy women like you feel more relaxed about food and finally enjoy meatimes again.
For over 20 years, I worked with families in the NHS and privately as a child and family nutritionist. As I helped parents navigate their family food challenges, something kept coming up in our conversations: those who came to me worried about their child’s eating or relationship with food were often struggling with their own.
They’d mention overthinking every meal, micromanaging bites of vegetables and feeling exhausted by conflicting opinions and nutrition advice. Whilst this worry comes from the very best place, I started to realise that many parents may have been subconsciously projecting their own food worries and confusion onto their children.
I believe that healthy eating makes room for all foods - even your favourite ones!
My Philosohpy
My values are rooted in conventional nutrition science and responsive feeding. It’s not about perfect plates or following rigid rules. I work with you in a person-centred way, which means we start from where you are at - we follow your agenda and explore what is most important to you. And we work together to agree realistic, achievable goals and build habits you can sustain.
I have a BSc in Applied Human Nutrition, an MSc in Psychology & Health and a Postgraduate Certificate in Food and Health Studies. I am a proud registrant of the UK’s Association for Nutrition. I’ve also completed training in Health Coaching, Emotionally Aware Feeding and Understanding Your Eating courses.
Remember…
Reaching out for support doesn’t mean you’re failing, it means you’re ready to prioritise what’s most important to you right now. It’s so much easier to make changes when you’ve got someone in your corner and I’m excited to support you on your journey to making peace with food.
